Where to even start....
We arrived early to set up the back room and we got everything done with enough time to spare to take two bites of a shwarma and boom, everyone started streaming in.
Our pal Quito jumped on to warm up the night and a bunch of enthusiastic dancers were dancing around by the second song. Great way to get a solid vibe going. And that really set the standard for the night...
Deztro comes up and starts bashing out some hardcore and within minutes, the room was in fully motion dancing up a storm. The venue had some technical difficulties, but we managed to get a dj monitor up and running and B7 brought it down hard and dark as the room started to get nice and sweaty. The A/C was on and the fans were going, but the sheer amount of heat being generated was great. And that's really what it's all about!
Flim jumped up on the decks and threw down a bit funky, but banging and totally crowd pleaseing. By the end of his set, the bodies were starting to glisten with sweat but the whole floor was still gyrating about enthusiastically. Brainfail took the decks and took Flim's techno up a few notches - a bit faster, a bit more distorted. Everyone ate it up! Then Deztro was back up and the dj rotation began again.
Crowd was super enthusiastic. We gave away piles of CD's. We gave away official Embryon clothing. The main room was packed and full of smiling faces all night. JaMmCat was around doing what he does best. We heard of no major problems with the crowd or security. There was sexy-ness all over the place and non-stop dancing from the beginning, right through till the end!

i guess iv never really been one for the darkraves
still had some fun though

Kay.. these reviews are stupid.
Everyone's talking about their drugs and their trip or their drunkenness. The rave scene itself is going to the shitter. It should be about the music and the good times, not even the drugs.
All that aside, best Darkrave I've been to in a while. I must say I enjoyed it thoroughly and the music was amazing. I don't remember dancing that hard ever in my life. Definitely a good workout for my abs and.. everything else. I'm STILL sore from all the dancing.
The people were great. The music made it. All around.. it was pimp.
All in all, I had an amazing time.

oh my god....right on to darkrave!!! this rave was smaashing. i have to say, what a great night for my first acid trip. and the black lights were hottt....they worked with my outfit. thanks for the awesome time, EVERYONE!!!

I swear to god, I was in there for an hour and it already beat the last few raves I went to in energy and music. I love Funhaus's UV lights. It was such a good time. The tracks were HOT!
