Made it there just in time for their set, stupid traffic. Took off not to long after their set...

I was supposed to go to this but my mom is in Virginia for training for the Navy and I'm the only one available to watch the house and the family cat and dog, and I offered to watch all.

I hope everyone had fun, and the pictures look AWESOME. Reminds me of all of the fun fuckin' parties I've gone to, and the fun and awesome people you meet.


But I DO agree with a few people on here. Raving is NOT about the drugs (I mean fuckin' eh don't go JUST for the drugs and sex, sheesh) and people wonder why raves get shut down or don't happen much anymore...especially since the most problems are underagers (which usually causes problems for every party they are allowed at), public sexual acts, and ODing.

I'm not saying anything is wrong with having a choice (there isn't), but don't ruin events by getting fucking retarded and whatnot.


Whatever happened to getting high off of the vibe and music????????

All I have to say is, if you're going to your FIRST rave, you should EXPERIENCE it BEFORE you decide to get fucked up on it, to really experience the vibe and flavour and energy. I would know, I've been doing this for 6 years now, at least wait a few parties before you get mindfucked.


My first rave was a wonderful experience for me, I don't think ANY drug could ever have made me feel that great.

And one is NOT respecting ANYTHING if they are ODing (I heard of people overdosing that night and that's NOT cool). Not to mention the amounts of really little kids (14 or so) doing drugs. You call that respect? Yes, raves are going to have drugs, and no, there is nothing wrong with trying to enhance your rave experiences, but it just sounded like a few people were only going cause they could get laid and feel euphoric by using chemicals.

At least try it once, sober, or at least not fucked up on drugs.

I know what I'm saying. Been there, done that. You'll thank me for the tip <3.

ANYWAY, in response to what Timmeh said, YES, us kandi kids are making a comeback (well, I see it as we're coming out of hiding and taking over once again, teehee!) Beware! <3

So tired from the night before, I couldn't be as energetic as usual, but I definitely still had a great time.

Favourite sets - what I caught of Xphox and Tempest, and what I saw of Red Turtle.

Good to see plenty of kandie kids out, I think lately we've been making a comeback.

well.. on a mission was the first.. rave.. ive ever been to.. and i must say their are alot of fucked up people and alot of slutty dressing bitches their, but for the most part i had fun, and i wud deffinitly go again
and im giving it 4/5 stars only cuz i threw up cuz it was soo fucking hot and smelled so bad from people dancing

Turn out was what I expected But that doesn't really matter..

The talents were amazing I really enjoyed Crash's set because of the oldschool. Don't get a chance to hear the older stuff too often anymore.. it's my favourite. I didn't get a chance to see everyone play.. but I also enjoyed/remember Harddtripp & Lair's set, as well as Saiyan's.

I was pretty bombed from the night before, didn't get a chance to sleep.. so my energy was a little low.. but at least I caught some hard trance/style to dance too before I got fully warn out.

I had a great time still!!!

1 star * Purple Heaven & Crew
2 star * great music all around
3 star * The ravers who came out and/or came out AGAIN after the bridge party the night before.. troopers!!
4 star * my friends.

-1star * physical fights (i counted 3.) & topless teeny boppers. There are better places to pick fights than having it be at a RAVE. At least take it out back.

There are better places to get naked than at a rave. We all understand it gets really hot in there.. but at least wear a bikini top so that other people do not feel uncomfortable. Why would they feel uncomfortable? Because they are of age and don't like seeing not fully developed 15 year olds wearing close to NOTHING with their baby fat tummies sticking out. Rude of me, but true.

Ketamine. Any idea how much damage you people cause? come on, at least take it easy on the crap.

Think about it.

First of all, thanks to Christian for CONSISTENTLY taking care of us when we come up...

This guy is a perfect example of the best of the best... A model of how it should be done...

But enough of that... lol... What an adventurous night!!!

I may or may not have walked out on my job to make it in time (BARELY, might have actually been a couple minutes late) for our set... Was SUPPOSED to be off at 8... 9.30pm rolled around, and I was out the back door of the Fallsview Casino... FUCK THAT... Purple Heaven is calling... lol

Unfortunately, being late, I didn't really get to see anyone play before us... Although, Red Turtle had that side room JUMPING...

I'm sure that I speak for Matt (SoundFX) as well as myself, when I say that I don't think we've ever sweated, rocked-out or had so much damn FUN playing ANYWHERE as we did last night...

Afterwards, we went and stashed our records in the car, just as Conradi was pulling up, so we followed him in, and danced for a bit to some Rex Manning...

Had to leave at about 3.30... It's a long drive back to Niagara.... hahaha

Thanks for having us out again Christian...

And I'll see you guys at Double Agent... August 31st...

i have never been to a PurpleHeaven event before, and i must say i was v ery happy with the outcome!! i don't really listen to any HHC, hardcore or hardstyle (my preferences lean more towards dnb/breaks) .. but i was taken away by Anabolic Frolic's set. i heard that he didn't perform as well as he could have, but i've never seen him before (i don't stay for HHC sets usually, unless it's actually good), but i had a ton of fun dancing around to all the anthems that were spun over the night, and by other DJs as well. i think i saw a good handful of DJs that i haven't seen at other events, or at least don't recall seeing ... i didn't imagine i'd have that wicked of a time

p.s. i was shocked and stoked to see that the painting that i did (worked on with Lau, who did the "light beam" was the main piece of art up <33 although i dont know if there were other paintings.. maybe they were just sheets haha.

I had a great time. My friends and I came Up from Rochester, NY to see Anabolic Frolic and to meet awesome people. We accomplished that mission. This was my second Toronto party, and I was entirely pleased. Thanks to all the people that made this possible.

Thx to the Purple Heaven crew for setting up an awesome event. All the djs played some top notch sets and i don't think anything less was expected from them.

As for Anabolic Frolic, well lets just say I can barely feel my legs today from all that bouncing lol. (Me and my buddy were the ones in the front that got the encore shout out from him in the end lol) and i also really enjoyed tempest vs xyphox set, great job guys

This was my first rave and i have to say that i had an amazing time, i don't think i stopped dancing (except for going for a few smokes) from when i got there till when i left. Anabolic was awesome i am so happy that i got to see him for my first party. The only thing that i was a little disappointed about was that not too many people dressed up, but all is well.

Just because some people do drugs at the shows does NOT mean that they go there FOR the drugs.
Such silly assumptions.
Plus if they do anyhow, why be it a concern for yourself? It's not you-so don't worry about it.
I was pretty f*cked up but that wasn't why I had fun.
It was my first rave in toronto and seeing Anabolic. After I heard my friends talking about them at Hulla, I just HAD to go and experience what they knew as f*cking fantastic.
But anyways, I'll already posted a review, and telling people to respect anything is just a waste of energy. People do as they please not as you want them to.
So don't stress if people say they did drugs and had fun!
my comment on sex wasn't out of line seeing as how the sexual energy I recieve from dancing [i am a dancer even at work] is natural. sex is a dance and to me dancing is sexy.
i respect the whole lot of what when down and who put it together.
respect who people are and who THEY BE!

the main reason i came to this party was to see frolic haha
and it was sorta upsetting cuz he didnt play all the songs i wanted him to... but then again he played some songs i never thought he would!!!
i truly turned into a kandy kid for an hour hahahaha... im not much of a hhc fan anymore... but man... frolic sure knows how to get my feet moving.

The party was sick... wtg unabomber it was sick...

i personally dont like the kathedral.. and wondered why both areas were in the kathedral... possibly double bookings???


anyways great party... a vibe i havent felt from a party in a looooooooong time....

DEFINATELY WAAAAY BETTER THEN I EXPECTED!!

Frolic DID play Vinyl and improvised in light of the broken cdj as any true "professional" wuld.. he actually spun a REALy good set if u ask me.. and i dont think ive ever booked a dj who got THAt many cheers at the end of their set!!

Steve O & Sound FX also RIPPPED it up in the 2nd area playing some DIRRRRTY house n breaks.

SOS didnt end up showing .. but just in the nick of time the other half of my brain (Mike Conradi) showed up and slammed some HARD assed techno with me REx Manning Stylee!!! Great way to compliment my hardstyle..

Anyways.. ALL the dj's here SHOWED me why i book the REAL talent.. cuz that was definately some REAL talent! Aristocrat / Lady Bass / Ruff N Timble - WOW!! Red Turtle.. WOW!.. Crash / Zirca / Miss Blyss / Tevlon D. - WOW!
Saiyan - WOW!!!.. and of course Casual Insertion ended things off perfectly and happily!! WOW!!

now THAT was some djng..

all in all.. good vibes.. not the BIGGEST party but definately a FUN one.

my only complaint was the lack of Fans.. i shulda thought about that one.. but oh well.. NEXT time..

anyways.. THANKS everyone who came and partied..

Fun night, thanks to bomber for having me out again. Oldschool sets at reverb parties are kinda funny cause the crew is so young and they don't know the history but that's hopefully a few got a glimpse of where we came from.

Showed up at around 10:30 just in time for our set. I got to hear Decibel for a bit. He has banging choice for Hardstyle. He was nice enough to lend me his headphones for our set, as mine werent working.

Then it was our turn(Ruff n Tumble) So I put my CD down that has all of my own recorded material on it, and not even in 2 mins- it was swiped. So Hardtrip threw down some of his own material instead. We actually played 2 our Ruff n Tumble tracks. The crowd seemed to be really diggin it, I was having a blast as was Hardtrip.

After came Lady Bass, who played a solid set!! She is a great techincal mixer. I enjoyed her set from what I leard of it. Red Turtle was slammin too- deffinately would book that guy in a heartbeat. I got to hear a bit of Sound Fx/ Steve-0. Two of Niagaras finest Djs there. Frolic came on at about 12:30. Apparently he played Vinyl because the CD decks were entirely working. Just on one side.

Even though the turnout wasnt huge the vibe was slamming, glad they did some painting downstairs too. Awesome seeing so many people dancing and asses shaking!! Hopefully we have a chance to throw it down again. Saw lots of people I havent seen in a while too

Definitely one of the best sets I've heard him spin, he used vinyl this time
