I had a pretty wicked time.
I liked the idea of the outdoor party at first, but I can't say I wasn't a little relieved when it got moved to the Bop... those red ants were irritating, and nobody was dancing.
I was a little peeved when we were told it would be ten bucks to get in, mostly because my friend and I came from Guelph, and we definitely used our money to bus home to get into the party... but I can't be too bugged about it, cause at least they were able to save the party in the first place.
Timmi's set was my favourite.
Aside from two kids who talk shit and then don't do anything about it when they had the chance to, my evening was pretty much awesome.

And once again... big bop to the save, christian and cara and i spent an ass load of time setting up, and even less time taking it all back down again! but all in all it was a great night, a few minor personal issues during the night, but they are far beyond mattering now.
really happy with the set that gabbo and i had, except for the last half, some needle issues, but these things do happen! the important thing is we dealt with it and kept ppl dancing, but what ever happened to bringing the dj's beer while they play, sheesh! LOL
over all i was really happy with everyones attitudes this evening as well, bin a while since i saw that many happy faces, its unfortunate i was in such a crusty sleepy mood, oh well, the joys of getting old....

Cherry beach is out of comission for all-night parties for a long time the only party that has a permit is Promise on Sundays afternoons... anybody else throwing a party would get busted. They closed the beach for construction. Bye bye Cherry beach!

Cops shut it down like half an hour after i got there.. and didn't venture to BigBop .. Wish i did, now .. The outside rave was a good idea, and the cops were really nice .. it was almost a relief, to get away from the bugs .. maybe next time .. Either waay .. WEMF IS SOON!!!! See you all there!

best part was christians set then the happy mungle set
I was on the stage for both of those sets dancing my ass off ended up falling behind the speaker like 3 times
shit was live better than any party ive been to at the bop

I had an amazing fucking time, tried acid for the first time... got kissed by some random girl. had crazy designs drawn on my face and ended up dancing on stage for a good hour or two.
I also met tons of new people and got my picture taken with a hot asian girl.
I was sad that it wasn't outside but the BIG BOP defs kicks asss.

Wow,
The cops are assholes. We did our best to make thew jam happen. Big ups to Bomber for the bop hook ups. I had a blast other than hauling my equipment around.  Next time TDSK is in town for an event we will be sure to get shit set up double time and KEEP the party going.

I'm kind of glad the event got busted. It was a great Idea to go outside but no one was dancing and if they tried like me they fell into holes and slid all over on the grass. The portion in the Big Bop was great. The venue gets used way to much but that time there was a great vibe. Got some great Pics and a video up on youtube.

This party reminded me why I rave.
Normally, I get there by 10 and by 2 I say fuck this, because the party sucks. But on Sunday, I got there around 7 and I didn't leave until 5! Awesome party, good music, good vibes... except for all the slutty hoes on the stage.

I get to leslie aftr missing the leslie stop on the queen car, get just past wendy's and some dude yells across the street cops busted the rave, so i was pretty bummed, but then next man comes and says it moved to the reverb so i was like alright free rave at the reverb.. cant complain.. get to the reverb eventually and waited there for 30 mins and then a guy comes and says it's 10$ to get in at which point i had already used most of my money on wendys.. so i go home without rinsing pretty disappointed but w/e the fireworks on the beach were key..decent ending night

AMAZING rave the music was awesome all night it sucked that it was moved from the beach fucking pigs. all the sets were sick especially timmy's and unabombers. unabomber was quick to attend to all our partying needs so much more to be said but so much sleep to catch up on i'm sure all the stories will be told by others

We saved as many ravers from the bottom of leslie as we could and driected alot of kids 2 big bop, @ about 1 in the morning we wer walking around down there still looking and shit and then we got ahold of sum1 @ the party and we rounded up like 40 random ravers walking around down there and all went to big bop it was cool cuz all the kids who were like looking around met b4 the party so @ the party i already knew sooooo many people

I was disapointed that i didnt get to party outside and see FIREWORKS.. but thats ok because it got damn cold and i was happier to be inside lol
I was worried i wasnt going to be able to get those dancing feet going I WAS OUT TO DANCE AND HAVE A GOOD TIME WITH FRIENDS AND STEVEO MANAGED TO GET THOSE FEET GOING FOR ME. OMG BREAK BEATS WHATTTTT.... DAMN THEY WERE ORGASMIC, seriously AMAZING SET STEVEO!!!

Had a blast with Timmy as always
Bomber's anthem set was pretty good
The hardstyle I heard upstairs reallllllllllly sucked though Prime slots should be given to good DJs, not friends, but anyways...
Overall a good party though I would like to remind every little "MC" out there of one thing.

Whoever it was that jumped on the mic during Bomber's set when Locked put it down...stay off. Barking sounds bad when Skibba does it and he has talent, when you do it it's just terrible.

was VERY disapointed with the music at first, and the people grinding on stage
i was lucky i heard it got moved to the bop before i headed doen to hte park.
the nice lady let me + my friends in a lil cheaper cuz we had ZERO money.
thre was some awesome people there, got to see some old friends and made some new ones (add me if you know me!)!
The after party was....i don't even know how to descibe it other then intense.

HUGE APOLOGIES to everyone who made it TO the outdoor rave only to find out we were getting or already were shutdown. Apparently "someone" informed police over a week ago that there wuld be an event there and after they looked into it decided they wuld have ot ask us to move due to a nearby bird sanctuary. The police were actually very nice and helpful. They also offered us some other solutions for future outdoor events.
UNTIL we got shut down.. we DID actually manage to setup a pretty sweet couple of stages.. sadly they only ran for about 2 hours.. lol
NEXT TIME..
ANYWAYS.. so i'm standing in a field of cops and ravers.. with a phone in my hand.. and someone says.. "CalllBop"
So i did.. and after some talking we secured Reverb for a possible option to move the event. This news was greeted by a loud cheer from both ravers AND cops alike.. lol!
So.. we packed up and moved it to the Bop...
All things considered.. id say night went pretty good.. MUSIC was BOMB!!!! We tried to accomodate everyone we could to get in.. even those without proper ID or $. BIGUPS to The BigBop for last minute allowing us ot rave.. or Canada Day wulda been a BIG NOH CANADA... not a BOH CANADA!!!!
anyways.. thanks everyone for still partying iwth us.. i had fun! HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!!

it took us a while to the park area but once we got there we noticed that it was infested with bugs. Not an ideal spot to throw a rave, but what can you do. Thanks big bop for saving the day. I personally had a lot of fun there.
UNABOMBERS SET WAS FUCKING AMAZING! hahaha i havent heard him spin that kind of shit in a looooong time...
Some nasty people were out there but thats expected. But a lot of the people made this party. I had enough room to dance so it was pretty sweet.

I SWEAR SITTING IN FRONT OF THE SPEAKER WITH MY EYES CLOSE WAS BOMB... I MELTED INTO THE MUSIC.. AND SERIOUSLY.. I WAS SOO SOBER..
I miss days like that. For me it wasnt about all the kids running around getting high taking their shirts off and humping and loving eachother, because the music was enough to make me jump, to make me feel like nothing else mattered but then and there, at that moment n THATS WHAT RAVES ARE ABOUT.
Mad props to bomber for gettin the venue at the last minute due to technical difficulties LOL
And it was nice to see so many familiar faces in a place so far from home....

Good fucking music. I didnt go to the beach cause I heard it had been moved to the Big Bop and got there at about 9. The second I walked the only thing I saw was skanky ass grind dancing -_-"
The only reason I had a good time was because the music was fucking sick and there was room to dance.
& to that couple that were fucking in plain sight in the Reverb, you FAIL. I told security and I hope they kicked you out.

Well....i definitely had an awesome time.
i was pretty glad that i ended up going to this, instead being at home bored out of my mind.
the happy hardcore....well i gotta say that was some good happy hardcore, and considering i dont really like it, thats a GREAT compliment.
steve-o your set was AWESOME, got me dancing even if my bag was pissing me off lol

I had an absolute BLAST... Even with all the troubles that came up... The party still happened. Theres something to be said for that. Great job on working out the problems, and making sure the whole thing came together.
I had an awesome time playing, there was some nice vibes in the room and everyone was there to have a good time, from what I saw...
Can't really ask for much more than that...
4 star party... But I'm rating 5... Extra star is for the effort of making sure that there WAS a party...

We came at around 10-11 pm and the place was deserted.... I saw an old man at the gate who was unlocking it, and said 'ya we shut it down at around 6'

you know what, I had a fucking blast the short time I was there...lots of good people, lots of ants...lots of booze, lots of loser cops that dont like fucking amazing music.
GREAT job bomber and TDSK, you set up a renegade party and I got drunk, on my birthday....awesome shit.
I caught all the cops at wendys after...haha douche bags.
