It was a good night besides some minor issues and the low attendance but I had a good time nonetheless.
My complaints ...
When you come to a party, Don't get to the doors and ask anyone who is a dj or looks like they have some involvment with the party if they can get you in for free or for less than the set cover price. If you can't afford to get into the party, don't come! The outside of a venue is not a hangout for you to do yours drugs. It just makes the place (and our scene) look bad to the general public when there are kids drooling on themselves and falling everywhere on the street. Do a little less drugs, pay the cover, go inside, hear some awesome music and enjoy yourself!

I think ppl that came ther not cuz they r the only ppl who hav money they come here to hang out with their friends that they've been partying for a while. Secondly even though ther was not that many ppl it was still fun u juz hav to not get grumpy and bored cuz ther was less ppl that was soppose to come. Life is still going ur still younge so hav fun before ur get to ur 30's lol .....im jokin
but still it was fun thnx to everyone who putted effort into this party and we're having a lot of fun so it was awesome

There was some good music, but it got really hot in the and the entire Kathedral smelled like vomit.
Unfortunately there were far too many parties this past weekend (since thursday!) and Labor of Love that night to compete with, so everybody else was pretty much out of cash by the time this party came around.
Don't be discouraged, these things happen.

Thanks to Der'Anged & Braincell for having me play this event. I've loved hartec for years, and it was great to play with him. I had a blast drinking with my cousin and highschool friend, and they had fun coming out to the party. There were a few technical issues, but we made due. The crowd seemed to enjoy our set, and we had those that were on the dance floor dancing.
Got there at about 11:30. Didn't pay attention to most of the sets, although Sprout & Bliz held it down each time I went near that room.
Thanks again Der'Anged. Don't let this party get you down, there has been lots of previous success, and there will be more.
Oh, and to supertroy: Myspace may suck, but it's a huge opportunity for promotion. Flyering sucks too, but it's something you should be doing to help ensure the success of events. It's membership base is huge, and since Der'Anged doesn't have an official website with updated information, it's necessary. Facebook requires memebrship, and a lot of people don't want to do that - or don't want to take place on PR. Limiting the people you can promote to is only limiting your attendance to an event.

there were a lot of problems behind the scenes this time 'round and I wanna congratulate jess (and braincell) and comming through and putting on a party instead of cancelling it.

The poor turnout probably had quite a bit to do with the fact that the venue wasn't even listed on myspace. Nuff ppl probably had no idea where it was
We actually thought it was gonna be at the funhaus until like the last minute.
And another thing. What happened to $10 before 10:30? We got there at 10:10 and we still had to pay $15. That's bullshit.
My friends and I got hammered so we still had a good time. I spent like $300 on drinks tho. Damn expensive.

That is the sickest, most irresponsible, and dangerous bullshit you could ever pull on a person. Not only did it make him feel like total shit, and screw up his weekend plans, but it really fuckin put a damper on our evening cuz we were going to hit up the Mod Club after his set and had to miss out. Lucky I didn't have to take him to the hospital. It was fuckin brutal.
Thanks for ruining our night asshole. You better hope I don't find you.

vibe was good....
all the djs did a super job at what they do best.....
i had an amazing time playin with bliz.... fuck, was i ever rockin out hard.... and i notice a small group up front the whole time durin mine and bliz set, and they came up to me afterwards sayin i became their favorite dj...... no one has ever said that to me b4 after a set..... it made me feel good..... thank you
even though the low attendance, this party was fuckin awesome.... u guys have no idea how close it came to be cancellin this party..... shit happenin few weeks b4, things worked out, party back on.... and then the mixers..... holy fuck, not one person have a good decent mixer in toronto.... everytime a mixer came along, something fucked up happen to it..... thank god it got figured out.... shitty the music had to be low until 1 oclock.... the side room, yeah, i understand, but the main room being that low..... it sucked, thats why everyone was sittin down until it got jacked up....
for some reason, my set of the night was dynamic and mizz lee..... tim, u have so much energy bro to give out to the crowd, fuck, even i was movin around a bit..... jay and christian (TROOPER!!!), thank you for givin me my techno needs for the night....
watched a bit of hartec and bacchuss.... and a bit of awol and his bro.... 3 hardstyle sets b2b2b.... i know the hardstylers were in heaven, LOL.....
bliz and i.... i had fun..... i havent rocked out that hard durin a set since my gig from ottawa in january with spedfrek..... we had the set being recorded, but, i think from the looks of it, only one table was being recorded.... and whoever messed with Blizinators drink is a fuckin jerk off.... not only our set could of been ruined, but he could of seriously gotten hurt bad.... u dont do that to ANYONES drink.... fuckers
anyways, thank you Jessica and Braincell crew for havin me out and about.... cant wait to bang some Hard Trance with the dj i was supposed to play with at this event..... oshawas very own, and my idol/teacher/friend.... IMPACT.... see you all in november for the next one....

I DID change the venue TBA to the bop over purerave.. I guess that change wasn't made in time. sorry about that. It was also announced on facebook which has become very popular for promotion.
What can I say about sunday? Well.. a poor turn out is bound to happen when doing events, and it did this time around. I wasn't really worked up and stressed over that.. I just felt pretty shitty some of the time, but still managed to have a good time like everyone else there. I'm sorry if I had to cut you short and I'm thankful for the talents who did give me a break for the most part.. you guys are so understanding. Thank you.
It was one problem after another. Thank god I got up at 11 am on sunday. Got a hold of Jer.. Ash and I got on the TTC.. split up. I went to the music rental store to see Jer and them. The people who had rented out our reserved equip the night before or something had not returned it. They got charged an arm and a leg for the fuckery. So at that point we were short a sound system and CDJS. Luckily they managed to get a sound system together for us. But no CDJS. Which I'm REALLY sorry about. I always have them, it just didn't work out.
There was major mixer issues in both rooms before start. We went through like 6 mixers. So we eneded up using what you'd call "crappy" mixers.. sorry.. found out one of the reasons why the mixers were not working was because someone didn't screw in a needle correctly.. which sucks.. but hey what can ya do!
I felt that the night was going to be a slow night like Sunday School I on the same date last year.. but it turns out it was just a poor show up.. I guess there was just too much going on on friday and saturday and yeah I do admit I wasn't as concentrated on throwing a rave this time around.. I had my mind on other things that brought me down and were totally unrelated for the last couple of months..
Thank you friends, talents, ravers, and those of the bop.. the most of you were being really great about this

the party had some sweet tunes going on.
there weren't a lot of people who showed up, i guess that has it's plus' and negatives.
yeah, more room to dance, but less people to associate with.
the party had very little planning ... it's good that it was only $10
because i left very early, after a while i just didn't feel like being in there anymore, so if i had to pay more i would have been pissed.
i went, got food, and then spent the rest of the night jammin' out front with people i knew, and some new faces.
but honestly, it seems like the planning for this party was a huge flop. it takes much more than just good music to make a party poppin' ... and this was my good-bye summer party.
kind of makes me REALLY wish i went to Double Agent instead, no offense to the promoters. i heard that was a bomb party.
oh yeah, damn i missed LIMB BY LIMB!!! i fucking LOVE that track!! good thing i stayed for the DNB set well, most of it anyways....

Not that many ppl made it good 2 dance and not have 2 worry about bumbing in2 ppl and stepping on their feet...alot of sick music...but the highlight of my night was that Dj from London Ontario at the end of the night in the small room spinning hardstyle...PRETTY GOOD MAN!!!

There were more ravers hanging outside the venue then there were in it. That being said, the music inside was excellent. Dynamic was really good, Erbalist and Locked tore it up. Awesome stuff from all the DJs.
Posting the venue and timeslots seems pretty basic, I don't know why that wasn't done. It could have been a much better night if the party had been promoted.

overall I had fun. Yes the event could have been put together and organized much better, but hey, I've played at worse. Those who were there were a good crowd. A little uneducated as to some classic tunes (seriously, when Limb By Limb is played, fucking sing!) but hey, its all good. JePh and I were both feeling a little under the weather and some tech issues kept the set from really picking up till about 30 minutes in, but after that we were fine. Mixing up the hardcore and dnb is def something I have to do more as well I think, it was quite fun

well.. i wasntreally in a "party mood" after saturdays events but i made it out to support and play with gabbo for a bit..
in all honesty.. alot more CULDVE been done to make this party better.. but yeh.. i understand why some people didnt bother.. but if u ANNOUNCE an event and decide to go through with it u realy need to put a BIT more effort into it becuz people PAID good $ to get IN and this was their last chance for fun of the summer.. so u as a promoter have a responsibility to make sure they do.. to the BEST of your abilitys.. not abandoning the event altogether.. No decor, No venue announcement before hand, No effort from what i saw.. just.. "open the doors and collect their money"..
anyways.. after my set i went to labour of love and they had about 10,000 people inside with some of the BIGGESt djs in the world playing and probably some of the BEST decor and lights and stilt walkers and live drummers and pyrotechnics and jet pack stunt men..
and yet..
i still wished i was back at Bop with people i knew and liked.. not 10,000 fat ginos.
i left before 2am...
nothing beats being with friends....
so no matter what.. as long as people had friends.. it looks like they still had a good time.
so.. props to Jess for sticking with it even though she knew it wuldnt be at all ike her last party.. just next time.. maybe ask me for a lil more help.. lol (since i have a room full of extra decor/lights/etc etc in my house..)

sets were pretty sick, the HHC in the little "room" at the end was fuckin great. hardcore shit. not much of a turnout and they raised the prices (again). and WHERE THE FUCK WAS UNABOMBER? they said he was on with gabbo, maybe i was too messed up but i dont remember seeing or hearing him

I had a blast here. Although there were not soo many people. The people who were there were awsome!!
I nearly didnt come, as the venue wasnt posted... but i went ahead out on a limb to check the big bop. Lucky ehh??
Danced my ass off all night, and near the end started feeling sick sadly, (think i was overheated, cuz underage people cant go outside for a break) but i endured the end... keeping a dance on, and loved it to the end.
Chilled with friends in the parking lot till dawn, and i just got home. Had a blast guys, thanks, if im able to get to toronto again ill be sure to come to your next

I got in at 11:30 had a beer and mashed the side room with Sprout. Hardstyle bangers. Had to jet at like 2:30 because I wasn`t feeling well. Saw T and blazed, got some pizza and now Im at home. If you didnt show up to this party then you missed out. Thanks for having me out Jess.
