the decks downstairs had frequent technical difficulties and the floor was dead. upstairs was way too crowded and had way too many people just standing around. epic fail.

sadly, i thought this show sucked.

it was empty. the crowd was a little mediocre despite many of my friends being there and I can't say it was at all set apart from the bland jungle parties that ive gone to in the past.

Being pulled over by RIDE program and the DVP being fuckign CLOSED ON A SATURDAY!

Awesome job guys. That venue is fucking sick Had a blast on the decks with JePh and all the performers I heard were on their game last night. Set of the night for me goes to The Deck Pistols. God I looooooooooooooove that style of breaks.

wow, that was by far the most difficult show i have ever, ever done. i need a vacation for real. every single little thing that could go wrong yesterday did, tenfold, and we STILL got it done and fixed all the kinks. you guys have no idea the amount of crazy things we had to do yesterday to make that party even happen at all.

music was great downstairs all night, nice small but energetic crowd. Bacchus & Sound FX, Decks Pistols, Marty and Mannik and Double Dee had the ladies shaking their shit all night. UKC impressed everyone as always. After some super frustrating sound problems, Soundproof kicked off the live shit with pure energy. Bah and Corrupted were on point too. Dubcomm and Shank are the definition of jungletekno!!

but upstairs was the spot!! even from the minute rob and jeph put on their first record it was just energy all night, minus a couple little bumps in the road. all of our locals/residents really impressed me last night for real.

T.Power...wow, just wow. I was tied up downstairs so I only got to hear a bit of his set, but between that + the full soundcheck he did in the afternoon, that man never ceases to amaze me. It's always, always a pleasure to have Marc out to play at our events, and this time we were able to draw a great crowd for him. He wanted you all to know he was really happy with the set, the party and the energy of the crowd!

DJ K...is the fuckin MAN!!!! holy shit, the man is fucking ruthless. that was one of the most original, biggest, baddest sets i have ever been witness to. the whole upstairs was packed and going wild for it. what you think, DJ K round two this summer boys and girls??

Erb'n'Dub b2b Jidayah...this is jump up!!!! this is how it should be done. the techstep heads, the ragga heads...shit even the breakers from downstairs were going wild for these two. got to check some of the erb'n'dubs scratching out in the booth. the dude is really dope (pun intended). thank you sooo much Scarboroughs Finest for helping us make the party even better!!

again, thank you so much to all the performers, the people who went above and beyond the call of duty to help us out over the course of the week (Mike, Heather, Andrea and Ellie especially you guys fucking rock) and everyone that's put up with us and this hurricane of a party that has been the most trying thing I have ever been a part of.

in the end, as long as you guys had fun which it looks like you did, it's worth every minute & penny to us. see you next year for DOWN TO THE LAST ROACH 3, which will be the biggest, baddest event in the history of events (well, ours anyway lol)
