loved this jam, couldn't get enough of demolition man and serial killaz, benny page dropped it down hard too. i really don't like the set up as much as last years, i think the renovated the docks since then, i did notice all the rooms were open though so that was sick, lots of space to rinse and run lol. big up future sound. il be first inline for the next one (as usual lol)

I was there for 15 minutes, and then got kicked out by security for no reason. I was pretty pissed. I spent $35 to get inside the club, pee, and then leave.
I ended up having a good night nonetheless because I wasn't alone, but seriously.. Fuck the Docks. 
Music was good while I was there. Too bad I couldn't stay.

Sound was boomin like days of old, honestly first time i have felt the bass in the docks in years. Big up all ravers who made the trek and brought the wicked vibe, 2007 is gonna be large. Everything was perfect! The main room was my fav, the hardcore room had some awesome lighting though I didnt dig the music in there too much. I started to enjoy myself more around 4 am, I saw some amazing dancers and danced with a few randoms - which was sick. Best night ever, the jungle was AMAZING and I cant wait for next years!

Wow!! I admit that I'm biased but that was one of my favourite events at the Docks, ever. Every set that I caught was spectacular, with special emphasis on No Left Turn and the incredible antics of George and Crash (!!) at the end in the hardcore room, Station and Cynex b2b Sprout in the Terror Inc room, and I don't know what his name was but whoever was playing around 3 in the main room was killer.
Huge huge respect to all the ravers who came out and contributed to what will, in my opinion, go down as one of the top raves and one of the best vibes of 2007... and most respect to the Future Sound crew, four extremely solid jams so far and a unity like the jungle and hardcore scenes haven't seen in years. Boh! And all that.

getting there was a mission!!! having to cross a bridge that was under construction in the pitch dark over top of in icy river!! omggg what a sick night.

I had come from work so I was a little tired to start off but No Left Turn is just crazy. His set was so very good.

Incredible night, thanks to The Incredible ravers and especially to my boys at Nocturnal Commissions, that was the 4th one we've done together and i couldn't ask for better people to work with.

First, I want to thank Futuresound and Nocturnal Commissions for bringing me back to Toronto! I have an awesome time everytime I play here, and Saturday night was no different.
I didn't have much time to catch many of the main room sets, but it appeared to be packed all night, and tons of people were on stage, so I can only assume that all the dj's and headliners were playing really well. How could I be at the party and not catch a lot of sets? Because I was too busy eating hot dogs in the outdoor area!! Whoever's idea it was to sell hot dogs at the docks is a genius and I would like to commend him/her.
I had an awesome time playing a lot of new(er) tunes for those who were in the hardcore room. You guys love to party hard and I love it!
Again, thanks to FS & NC for bringing me back out. I'm sure I'll see you guys again soon and will have more goodies for you the next time out.

WOW!! Now that is what an all ages rave at The Docks should be like each and everytime.
Big up to the Furture Sound Crew stepping up and getting shit done proper. The sound was extremely improved since my last encounter with it @ First Contact. The best part about it, I wasn't even worried about the sound going into the party, because i knew that this crew would not dissappoint. Most times I have gone to the Docks regardless of which promotion company is hosting the event, I have already accepted the fact that the sound will be messed up, but Saturday was fucking sweet.
After waiting in line to get in, and then 20 more minutes in coat check, when i came out into the main room, i already knew this night was going to be sweet.
Ryan Ruckus' set was sick as usual. I could never say a bad thing about the big daddy. It's too bad him and crash couldn't do the b2b thing though.
I was so god damned excited for Benny Page, I just couldn't wait. After seeing the show in The Drink for the Digital Soundboy Tour, i fell in love with his track selections and style of mixing. BUT I do have to say Benny played a better set at The Drink (IMO). He was still fucking wikked, and tunes were dropped. I just kept waiting for "Can't Test Me", and finally it dropped, and i bruckkkked the fuck out. TUNE!!!
Brockie has always been a favourite to see live. He usually smashes the fuck out of the dance floor, and did not dissapoint on Saturday. Tune after tune! The bass was pumping too, which was awsome, because its not usually that loud there lately. I'm not a big fan of Navi, but he actually didn't bother me at all.
Serial Killaz is where the jam ened for me, rewind after rewind, killed my vibe, plus i had to head outside to bare the cold weather to sit and watch Illwhisky flyer to all the ravers. i should have stayed inside, it was so fucking cold. {Thank - you again Chris for the being the BEST EVER!}
There was a bit too much wobble going on, I expected Benny Page to play more 'dubby' stuff, but still sick. but i can see where people rasied the issue of too much wobble.
So all in all, GOOD SOUND, GREAT SETS, KILLER VIBES, BEST FRIENDS, RAMMED VENUE, and sketchy underagers were keeping their weirdness and light shows to a minimum, lol. I barely noticed any of them around!

Next time you see Crash, give him a big pat on the back for keeping shit running smoothly the whole night. Non stop, on the go, all night. Job well done!

We dropped in at Union Station for a brief premeet and to exchange passengers and proceeded to The Docks to set up the borrowed Laserglow equipment in our Nocturnal Commissions room before the doors opened. The room was nicely layed out as well, however I would have designed it with a smaller licensed area. The venue is quite far out of the way, especially since the bridge has been down since the fall, but I'm glad we still have it, because that venue can pack a punch, hosting many hundreds of good times at once. Parking, at least, was reasonable this time.
Tempest opened up right, figuring out the challenges with the evening's gear while dropping some killer tunes. Meanwhile Carnage was in the Jungle Room building up the energy. Records who spin George were second, and adventurous in the NC room. Too bad the Rushins/Voodoo People mix is so difficult... I got drunk in a hurry after George's set and explored with my renewed energy. Nick and Timmy were solid when I saw them, and the bits of Benny Page and Brockie I caught in the jungle area were moving everybody all around, and I found a lighter. No Left Turn proved once again why we keep bringing him back, while Tyco and Dave kept it up after the night had peaked, with MC JD doing his thing through the reverse headphones. I started getting tired at this point, but kept on dancing to Timmi and George's closing shenanigans, not to mention an appearance by Crash, spinning hhc as well as our guys. I did also catch a little bit of Station and Rex Manning, but was not feeling either. I like their style better at home.
The TRIP booth was nice to have, I particularly appreciated the nifty ear plugs. Robotpilot Industries were working next to them, as creative and friendly as always.

The docks is a difficult-to-access, inconvenient venue, but this party was well-worth the trip to get to.
I came expecting to pay $30 for "reduced" (money-grubbing bastards. ) and ended up having some wonderful person tell me that he'd payed for me, just as I was about to pay. I was delighted, and its completely made up for the $8 parking in an inconvenient location. I wish that the promoters would have let people know about the Cherry street detour. It was a bitch walking across lakeshore.
I am not a fan of the jungle scene at all, but I good not deny that the music was kicking, the bass was pounding, and the energy was intense.
All rooms had something to offer, but the hardcore and jungle rooms were the stars.
Everybody seemed to really be enjoying themselves, and there was a great vibe throughout.
I took a whole bunch of pictures, as usual, so check back with me once I've gotten some sleep and had time to review/edit my stuff.

Yeah I'll be rockin'! That was an amazing night. I dont think i really left the hardcore room. Loved it!. Amazing music, great venue, sick lights, and awesome people. Only improvments would be the charge to get in (40$  ) and the coat check. At least hold my coat untill the event is over!! Oh well it wasn't to bad to fix it. Besided that the night was was freaking great! I will be back it theres another one.
And sorry to any one who hugged a soaking wet Adam. I couldn't help it. I had to dance hard.
