Over all The party went really well.
I was working the door/coat check and we didnt really have any problems.
The sound on fat spliff's set was alittle fucked up.. but hey hes hype so i didnt really care.
Of course im gonna stay my fav set of the night had to be Fat Spliff's  .
Big Up Proper Sounds/everyone who helped out.
I had a wicked time durning the party.
I look forward to seeing more Proper Sounds jams in the event listing.

Lineup to get in was pure BULLSHIT though.
The slippery floor was fun though...once you got the hang of it you could use it to your advantage...

no offence to any of the younger kids but, a lot of you were too fucked to even remeber your own name. the dancefloor was crowed with people who had NO CLUE how to dance, and it was really really hot. and although i was only there for oohh... maybe ten to fifteen minutes, i didn't enjoy myself at all.. and half that time i was probably outside.

not to mention the bar tender ripped my friend off $10.
but wicked party, wicked set, thanks to my man for the sound in the little booty room, or gabbo or double deee would have never gotten there sound out.

good times...
first time i've been to a party that turned into a night long adventure in a long time! lots of fun people.
danielle and i killed it in the small room as well as unabomber, robotpilot and others... so much fun though.
other than the sound issues at the very start of the night this was a good time for me.

Didn't have too much fun but im glad I went.
The line was shit, the only reason i got in was because my friend speaks polish 0.o. The blacklights were awesome but the strobes were too intense.
All the music that I heard was SICK, I was dancing the whole night. And thats all that matters. & I got a fatspliff cd ^_^
The only bad part was that the floor got insanely wet and dirty and so did my shoes. >.< And the two girls that got in a fight and no security was anywhere to be seen was a little fucked up but other than that the night was good.

that area has to be free of obstruction, and the coat-check girl wasnt too skilled...
sound was shit, but thats cuz the dj's fucked up the set up to begin with. sound-tech had nothing to do with it.
they were crankin the eq's and master with the gain all the way down. problems from the start.
oh well.. next week, we do it 1 more time.

the line was dumb, though. and the security @ the front was incredibly not smart. but anyway, it all flowed quite nicely once we got in!
OH and the chairs and couches were the most comfortable things of my LIFE! haha

i love the venue, the main room at least. the sound quality wasn't doing too well for most of the night,but what was being played was good still. the line up outside was bull shit i was waiting in line until 11:15 but all in all i had a really good night.

I don't understand how you can complain about the club. I've played that club multiple times, never had any issues with the sound or anything at all. Obviously someone wasn't doing their job, cause the Rugged North weekly runs smooth as fuck.

Everything was sorted properly except the sound. But I know things get hectic at an all ages jam, and for the most part everything was good.
Here's my suggestion for the crew.. next time have a sober soundguy available for the entire evening. Ruckus' entire set was only playing through the bassbins. As soon as I got on, we realized that the amp had just over heated and needed to be turned on again. The CDJs in the main room were completely broken.. start button didnt work rendering them useless. Only a pissoff because I had tons of unreleased stuff to play. After we tweaked a few things, the sound was perfect. Hopefully it stayed like that the rest of the night.
All in all, everything worked out well. Crowd was very into my set and I wanna send a shout out to all the crew who enjoyed it.
Big up Russ and Boris.. look forward to playing for Proper Sounds again in the future!

about the sound.
i fixed it up as best as could with out complelty unhooking everything and re hooking it back up would have taken hours. that soundsystem has potential but its not hooked up proper to the right ports and shit

were all these people at the same party i was at?? or just fukt out of their tree's? because the party i went to last night fucking sucked. security sucked. the line to get in the party sucked, the sound sucked, the venue sucked, the two bitches who started a scrap with me and my girl sucked.....basically i'm kicking myself in the ass for wasting 20 bucks on that place....
 on viva lounge...i will never, EVER go back there
PS...IF ANYBODY FOUND A SQUARE LINK CHAIN AND SMALL CROSS COULD YOU PLS MSG ME. it was broken off in the scrap mentioned above and has alot of sentimental value to me. if you found it or know someone who did please, please tell me.

havent been back to Viva since the first Purple Heaven returns event.. i wish people used it more often..its a very nice venue..
all sound and room size issues aside i had a blast spinning..

good venue.. i liked the amount of space in the main room
good music in both rooms
the crowd was ok.. a lot of newbs haha so it gave me and my friends something to do during the line up
it was a good night

Not bad, not as good as i expected,, the Venue was actually really nice, and the main room was bomb. the secondary was WAY to small and the sound quality in there sucked... hurt my ears to be in there at all. all in all, pretty sick, REALLY sick jungle, but there was some sketchy characters, and Security was mad chill, haha, but i always make friends with security.
3 stars just cuz it was cold and sketchy... lol
