this is a group rating. aka im not the only one who is writting this out...
anyways.
I had a few friends come up from the states for this party and tthey didnt want to go home after the party... infact one of my friends started crying when she found out it was time to go home....the party is over... its time to get back to the house to sleep for a few hours...
she almost didnt leave canada just so she could continue to spend time with the amazing people that decided to attend...
thank you to everyone that put this party on because it made a lot of nights...
sure there were a few bad aspects but nothing is perfect and all in all... it was just great.

I'm not sure.. i have to give this rave a very low rating..I found even with the wicked people that i know there, the vibe still sucked. I was in the hardcore room most of the night. The only highlight of the night was the euro. It was way to packed and other personal shit that happind to me that night just made it worse.. i expected alot more for 30 dollor's.

I had an amazing night, despite some of the drama and shit that happened. The music was awesome, and so was the club and the people there. The overall vibe was good. I can't wait till Destiny 666!

Mystical's set topped the room that night... unfortuneate we got slammed into liberation late night... and to let that diddler take the main room... I'm ashamed.

Well . . .the party was a pretty sick, but they only had two rooms. The main room was good with some sick ass DnB and Jungle, but the liberation lounge . . .what the fuck were they thinking. That is was too small to have as a room. If they would have had the original Happy Hardcore room set up it would have been sweet, but no. THere were too many people going to that party to not have the original room open. ANywyas . . .Dynamic fucking ended the night with an awsome set as always.

Had a great time for sound and vibe wise for sure was a five and that all that counts but for next time. Try and have alittle better sound check because when it's moving around the room that not pro. All so the only little door was not a good Idea open the big one and get us air man. But this party get the five for the set I got it record so if you want it will be up soon.

Party Was Boom!!! It was my 20th B Day. Nicky Blackmarket, you threw down some dope vibes. Wish they opened up more rooms, it was way too crowded. 19+ area was weak, couldn't even get drunk on my b day there. Other than that, had a fucking great time.

that rave was the best rave yet some poeple has probles with it but i say that rave was sick.that guy in the washroom was jks the one yelling show your love show your love that man trips me out all the time when i go to the docks. the music was sick reaspects go out to Nicky Blackmarket, Skibba, and even Shabba and them put down sick set from the time thay got up to the and of the rave.

I've got some major beefs with this party. WTF's the deal with coatcheck being full before midnight? I had to lug my winter coat around all night... that was beef #1. The liscensed area was too small and too rammed... beef #2. The sound in the main room is SHIT. Drum & Bass is full of precision sounds... it's gotta be crisp and clean... Big rooms create too much reverb... that's beef #3. I'm too old to handle being around so many drugged-up, low class, dis-respectful, pubescent, sweaty, smelly kids (Not that I'm hating... I used to be one... that's just the natural progression of life... don't worry kiddies... you'll see) beef #4.
If I wanted beef, I would have gone to The Keg. I was pissed off all night until the jungle moved into the small room... then I was happy. It was a little rammed, but there was good sound and good vibes... MAD PROPS TO DJ Animal, who threw down the set that saved my night. Emcee JD... You're sick... definitely one of Toronto's best... 2 stars for two Stars. And you know what... I'm just gonna say it... These U.K. mo-fos are riding the wave of their former glory, under-performing and over-charging. Nicky Blackmarket, Skibba, and even Shabba (who used to be my favourite emcee)... YOU'RE ALL PLAYED OUT. Our homegrown talent is better... they're still hustlin, they still feel it.
I think this party hammered the final nail into Big Party Drum n Bass' coffin... for me anyways. Enjoy the scene kids... what's left of it. And don't make the mistake of confusing a good party, with good *party favours*. One does not make the other.

This party gets a big gigantic MEH from me. The mainrooms sound was pretty shitty, nicky blackmarket's set was not all that great, SAS need to STFU, and then craming all the junglists in that tiny room when anabolic frolic came on was just retarded. That being said, I had an alright time mainly cuz I have wicked friends and I still got my dance on for a bit. The dnb tunes played in the liberation lounge for the little time I was there were sick though.

Scoots vs. END and Louie vs. Leela were my highlights
I didn't enjoy Frolic's set. He's worse than I remember. I did enjoy his speech afterwards however. I believe he really appreciated that Timmy and George/FS brought him out.

the ryde was vibin all night... free parkin, free entry (too bad i already bought my ticket and was too lazy to sell it at the entrance) maddd hookups and wikkid friends made my night
nicky rinsed a propper set, SaS were actually bareable, bigup skiba for keeping the "caw-caws" to a minimum, shit makes my ears bleed
new toys were awesome, i know alot of you kiddies enjoyed them too... i may have a video uploaded sometime of a lil lightshow
nice seeing all my raving crew out, pleasure meeting a few new faces... bigup!

The party was really good
Most of the sets were really good
I was not really having that much fun prior to the euro due to the stupid long line for reduced
and then to pay 30 dollars WTF. I was at 2thebeat earlier in the day if I had of known I would have bought my ticket and not waited in line for like an hour
Euro always seems to be a catalyst for good times
END and Scoots the Kelly supaset was as amazing as I figured and fly bry killed it on the mic
The guy oding or having a seizure while on drugs or whatever is always a downer I hope he is alright and stays away from strobe lights or drugs or whatever
It never ceases to amaze me the vibe frolic brings into a room and that make me happy
but honestly
The set was really really bad
The track selection was really good and I guess this proves track selection makes up 90% of a set
Awkward mix into awkward mix into awkward mix
were you playing off your H2BH mixes because Im positive I heard two familiar tracks in the mix and then slam into a completly differnt track
Im not saying I didnt have fun during your set
Im not saying I didnt dance during your set
maybe im old and grumpy
maybe the setup was bad
but all in all I had a real good night

Fucking AWESOME, like probably best night ever, roughly. First toronto event outside of commercial DJ stuff. HHC was sick and so was the mixed in euro. Was there for Anabolic but the whole ticket was sick. 1 year Anniversarave with pokeraver, so it was bomb.

the docks is a good venue, it was good to be somewhere different then the funhaus or big bop.
the music was BOMBTASTIC! nicky blackmarket killed that shit...
but alot of bad things happened..
and the line up was fucked.
the guy oD-ing was a prety big scare..and there was a fight outside in the smoking patio..which was really uncool...
in the end tho..the music was great and so was the venue <3

It was a good breath of fresh air to be anywhere other then the Big Bop.
Dont get me wrong its like home, but being able to sit in a chair that was not half sunk in and drenched in sweat etc was really ....really nice.
There were times when the music was great ! ...then times when it was not so great.
although the hardcore room was pretty small it was packed and that was good to see. It was hell getting in/out of it though. I met some really nice people there. But there were some pretty fuckin rude ass people there too. I was expecting that though.
Overall the night was so so but worth the 30 bucks.

Meet some new people, saw some other people I knew (and must have appeared charming as hell from what I remember), took some pics, danced like Kim Jong Il, slew the ladies like Pol Pot (maybe not a good similie), and enjoyed myself thoroughly.

Am I the only person who thought this party was not all it could have been?
They clearly over sold the docks due to half of it being used for some snowboarding show. The smoking area was whack, one door for over a thousand people to go in and out of...?
The bar was rediculous, waiting for 45 minutes to an hour for a drink, then when receiving the drink you realize its not the drink you order, and the change is wrong, but by the time you realize this, 1 of the 2 bartenders that are serving the hundreds of people at a time either dont care and/or dont have time to stop and do anything about it..
Can't forget the guy in the middle of the floor that everybody else commented about. Whether it be a medical condition or a case of overdose it was a troubling sight to say the least. Something about listening to happy hardcore while a man lays on the floor with medics shoving tubes up his nose and down his throat is just disturbing...
Nicky's set wasnt even all that good. I've seen him a few times and I dont know whether it was the system or him (probably a mixture of both), but I've heard better.
All in all, not the greatest party. I can honestly say I was a little dissapointed. This was the first, big, hyped, docks party in time, and it didnt deliever.
Lets just hope destiny does in a couple of weeks.

I had a great time playing 3 sets last night, one in the main room.
It took forvever to get drinks. I like when the bar behind the dj booth is open, didnt understand the 2 bartenders for over a thousand people deal last night.
Vibe was great and therefore i had a great time.

It was the bomb!!! the music the people.
Except there was this one girl sitting on the other speaker. It looked like the bass vibes were getting her off. I was like WTF!!! I just ignored and paid attention to the music.
I was standing on a speaker in the hardcore room for 2hrs. Its was great, my ears are still ringing like mad. I passed out at my friends place and the music was replaying in my head!!!
Awsome shit!!! Loved it.

The beginning was shitty for me and my friend, but around 11:30 things quickly picked up.
alot of fucked up shit,
-the fight in the smokingpatio (CODERED! CODERED!)
-The person randomly od'ing in the middle of the dance floor
-the guy who booked it outside the smoking patio and was chased by 5 security people...
