worst fucking venue i've ever been to in my life.
if i paid to get into the party, i would have kicked myself in the face.
thank god i didnt.
tarps breaking, upstairs being 19+, volume in the hardcore "room" was so low it was impossible to hear, no umbrellas to block out rain, records/brand new decks getting SOAKED, needle skipping/sliding.
no attention was paid to the upstairs and it's disgusting that some DJ's didn't even get paid.
good luck to anyone who throws a party there ever again.
we'll see how many ppl show up.
venues like that are not meant for parties.
its a BAR. keep it that way.

well..that party was a trip. the venue was way too small..but the jungle vibe was sick right infront of the d.j..outside on the patio was kinda of sketch because of the candy kids who trip out but yeah i saw alot of faces there but if i didnt have my good friends there i'd probably leave way too small couldnt even rinse it lol

meh. Apothecary blows monkey nuts...so did half the people there.....heard the same songs re-played by every dj all night. Atleast I was working for apothecary that night and didn't have to waste 15$  stick that in yer' pipe n' smoke it! And security there is the worst...that one bouncer is such a douche...he pulled some chick down the stairs...I thought there was guna be a repeat of cherry beach!

The music was really good, but that was probably the only good thing about this party. I was really looking forward to it, but the Apothecary disappointed me. There was no space to do anything. I think I danced for about five minutes, because there was just no space. Whenever I wanted to go to the bathroom, it took me forever to get there. If my friends weren't there, I would have had a horrible time.
Also, a lot of the people there were pissing me off. The 14 year old who did E for the first time definitely had to go. And the people who were groping me, and the people who were just plain assholes.
The party had potential to be awesome, but a different venue should have been chosen.

I could not STAND the kids downstairs...

this party had so much potential..
the venue was way to small for the amount of people that came out.
Music was grimey
but why call it "Back 2 School Rinse Out" when all u could do is jump up and down.. and even then u got pushed out of ur way..
i didnt like how they had all the other non-jungle d.j's in the 19+ area ..

As much as I really tried to enjoy myself, and believe me I did, the second I walked into the club there was a bad vibe. A half hour later my friend got pushed down the stairs by the bouncer upstairs, my other friend had water dumped 3 times on him, my other friend was asked to stop dancing (WTF????) on the upstairs patio, and I must've been groped at least 3 times. I'm sorry, I know these types of events are expected to get a little rowdy, but this was just too much. If I wasn't high I probably would've cried. I'm not blaming the venuw or the promoter, I'm blaming PEOPLE THAT DON'T KNOW HOW TO RESPECT THE SPACE, THEIR FELLOW PARTYERS AND THEIR INTOXICANTS.

I had lots of fun. Even tho i had to work the door most of the night I still got my drink on and enjoyed myself. There was alittle drama in the begining and end but over all it was dope.

next time we invade apothecary maybe less people will go.

jungle will be both upstairs and down, so the 19+ junglists will go upstairs this time.
never will there be a big party there again.

i agree with the underage mess. the fucking baboon security guard upstairs, did'nt understand the concept of wrist bands. This party was thrown by my good friend russ. i'm very happy and proud of the turn out.
my only other beef is that i paid to get in, and then was asked to spin. but that's ok i had alot of fun so it's grilled

Though it WAS my birthday, and though there WAS sick music for the whole night - I can't stress this enough. ALL AGES PARTIES AT APOTHECARY SUCK. It has nothing to do with the fact that everyone is underage... it just gets WAY too damn crowded.
All-in-all, though... Wicked night.
